Connect Facebook Messenger
Connect a Facebook Page you manage and let your chatbot answer Messenger conversations.
Connect a Facebook Page so your chatbot can reply to people who message it on Messenger. You need access to manage the Page and its messaging permissions. Messenger and Instagram are separate connections: you can connect either one or both.

Connect a Page
- In your chatbot, open Channels → Messenger. In onboarding, choose Messenger from Connect.
- If prompted, start an eligible trial or choose a plan. Review the card requirement, trial length, renewal price and terms before confirming.
- Select Connect Facebook Page. The hosted connection flow will ask you to sign in to Meta and approve permissions for the Page you want to use. The provider may identify itself as Social Media Connector.
- Select the intended Page and finish the authorization. Return to ChatbotGen and check the Page and connection status.
- Send a message to the Page from another account. Confirm the chatbot answers and the conversation appears in the inbox.
From onboarding, use All integrations to connect another channel. If your Page is missing, check that your Meta login can manage it and that you granted the requested Page and messaging permissions. If you do not see Messenger in Channels, check your account’s availability with support.
Pause or disconnect
Open Channels → Messenger to pause replies or disconnect Messenger. With Zernio, disconnecting Messenger leaves an independently connected Instagram account in place. Meta’s messaging rules and time windows still apply.
